Impact of Financial Performance on Market Price of Nestle

Abstract
The Fast Moving Consumer Goods Industry (FMCG) is a growing sector of Indian economy backed by favorable demographic profile and rising income levels. Nestle is an established player in the FMCG sector with many popular brands. The paper attempts to analyze the impact of financials on market price of Nestle. The secondary data of five years is considered for the study. The data is analyzed using financial ratios and Pearson Correlation. It is found that debt equity ratio and dividend per share do not show significant correlation with market price.
